In a nutshell I’m into doing creative things and not wasting my life sitting in front of a tv. In fact I don’t even own a tv currently. I don’t even use my Netflix account really. I just keep the account because my family uses it. I’m into music, art, photography, and crafting handmade products, but more than anything I spend most of my time outdoors.
I am an artist residing in Southeast Alabama along the Alabama/Georgia line. I enjoy digital art, as well as photography. My art centers around floral designs, and I like to draw/paint fish as well. My photography is outdoors, mainly around the West Point Georgia lake, and if you follow my blog lately then you’ll see that photography is my biggest interest lately.
I started into digital art in late 2013, or early 2014, and it is something I really enjoy. I discovered Zazzle and saw it as an outlet to get my art out there to be seen and enjoyed as useful products such as greeting cards, and refrigerator magnets.
My art is simple in nature, but that’s what I like about it. I love the old saying, “simplicity is the key to happiness”. So I create my art, so that I my art can create happiness. If someone were to tell me that my art looks like something a 3rd grader drew or painted, I wouldn’t be offended. I would consider it a compliment, because my art keeps me connected to my youth when I think about it that way.
This blog is where I post updates on my art images and products they are available on in my Zazzle shop at David’s Original Art Zazzle Shop. I invite everyone to follow this blog to stay up to date on my newest art and zazzle shop items, and follow me on twitter for my daily ramblings including blog updates, personal this and that, and zazzle sale announcements (you know they have sales all the time. I also have my instagram if you would like to follow me there as well.
I had an idea beginning on July 10th, 2016 to keep a log of my tweets posted to my twitter account as a way for my visitors to stay in the loop on what I’ve been up to… you know incase you missed anything on twitter. This includes both personal tweets and tweets pertaining to promoting my work which includes my photography, art, and craftwork. It’s also a journal of sorts I guess. So follow me on twitter @dtpiix, but if you ever miss anything you can check my tweet logs. These logs will be posted once a week on Sundays and will contain tweets posted throughout the prior week.
Here’s a list of Tweet Logs posted:
